George Haggerty
Hello! My name is George Haggerty and I specialize in human movement. After experiencing severe back pain and knee pain in my early 20s I went on a journey to discover why. What I uncovered was that there is a specific way a human being is designed to move, and when we move against this design we experience pain. Being a professional golfer I understand how much chronic pain can affect the things we do and love. Through my 8 years of coaching I have worked with clients with a variety of issues including flat feet, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, lower back pain, shoulder/neck pain, and I developed a system that integrates these exercises into a workout, so you can still reach your fitness goals whilst keeping your body healthy. I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and guiding others into discovering the full potential of their body!
My Experience
-
Movement Assessment
There a lot of modern day stimulus that cause our movement to worsen over time, including tight shoes, heel raises on our shoes, and chair sitting. This is why a lot of us end up having the same pains around the same ages. Common issues I have worked with are flat feet, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, lower back pain, shoulder/neck pain. I offer a free movement assessment so we can assess where the weaknesses in your movement are, and build a plan going forward!

Private 1-1 Training
What you can expect from a private training session is an initial movement assessment to identify your weaknesses. Once we identify what we need to work on you will have specific exercises to improve that area. These exercises all have progressions. As you get better and better at these exercises we being to incorporate them into a full workout. We will then redo your initial assessment to show what improvements have been made!

Golf Fitness and Performance
I have extensive experience in the fitness and performance side of golf. Being a professional golfer and World Ranked World Long Drive athlete I have learned a lot about building speed and power in the golf swing, and how to train for it in the gym. Being a rotational athlete it is essential that we train in a rotational manner so our body builds and doesn’t break!
